Funded and supported by the European Association of Schools of Social Work (EASSW), this is the second of two workshops that invite social work academics, students and practitioners across Europe and internationally to explore three key areas in relation to international social work. These areas are:
1. Global and local needs: similarities and differences
2. Developing a Global Learning Exchange Environment
3. Contemporary contexts and social work: wartime, pandemics, forced displacement of populations, child poverty, etc.
Associate Professor Panagiotis Pentaris, the International Social Work sub-committee of the Joint University Council and its co-chairs, Professor Janet Walker and Associate Professor Alison McInnes, as well as the organising committee for this event are inviting you to the second workshop exploring global and local needs, a global learning exchange environment, and contemporary contexts in social work. Attendees do not need to have joined the first workshop in order to attend this one.
This is an online event, and participants are cordially invited to join us on 24 May, 2022, 16:00-19:00 (BST).
